      • Rebecca Masterson’s 12 year old son uses CBD, DCS rejected her for foster care even though there is a “critical need” for more foster parents
      • DCS later reverses its stance and allows her to be a foster parent because she used hemp sourced CBD, other CBD, THC products would disqualify the foster parent.

      • DEA says Charlotte’s web or CBD oil is a violation of two Federal laws
        • The Controlled Substances Act & The Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, because it is a derived from “marijuana” it is illegal

      • The court refused to review earlier rulings rejecting the argument that federal law trumps the 2010 Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
      • “Accordingly, the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act should have been held unconstitutional without regard for the method in which it passed into law,” he said. “Unfortunately, the court’s abdication of its duty leaves Maricopa County residents, who have consistently voted against legalizing any access to marijuana whether medicinal or recreational, at the mercy of the policy choices of the federal government.”
